I think that Thursday's big air pocket and Friday's catapult act say, after a few prior drops and bounces, that IATV has a helluva lot of resilience within a framework of volatility. The effect, I think, should be to strengthen potentially weak hands, because with any forthcoming downdrafts there should be a lot more confidence that the stock will assert its usual character and zoom right back. So many things are now happening with broadband interconnectivity that newsworthy events are being cranked out on a regular basis. If the stock goes down, it's a good bet now that an encouraging announcement will snap it back up. . . and soon. (Moreover, I'd guess that instead of a lot of scared folks selling into a drop, they'll smell opportunity and buy, in effect limiting the downside either in time or degree.) These are trading observations that won't be lost on players or investors. Combined with the drama of the story and the company fundamentals, it looks to me like there's a better shot at a streak of higher highs coming up than a settling into consolidation.

Ed,

I run G2 on my @home modem and I think it's a dog. Maybe their broadband product will offer some improvement, we will have to wait and see. I have seen HyperTV and I can tell you from my experience it is far more robust than any media player that I have seen to date.

I believe as broadband becomes more prevalent we will see several companies like RealNetworks offering solutions to compete in that marketplace.

I have spent a lot of time researching competing technology and I have to believe that we (ACTV) own the convergence with our patented premier streaming media solution known as HyperTV.

Of course this is just my opinion.

Let me ask you, or anyone for that matter, Who do you think owns the convergence?

I look forward to your replies!
