thanx for the informative posts which give at least a little balance to this thread. i reduced my loss by 1/3 from 2/1/99-so my paper loss is still enormous but very substantially reduced.
dell's profits have gone up a lot and its pe is not as high as it was despite the monumental rise in its stock price over the years.
i agree that momentum players have gotten out of the stock and may continue to do so-especially if dell disappoints in May
