harry, i'm not certain that i completely understand all of the info that i have. but i like it. on friday, i show the following buys on my time and sales chart(i just checked it again for any changes). the "same minute" buys are posted many seconds apart, so i do not think there are any duplications: time price shares bid ask 14:37 65 1/2 10,000 65 3/8 65 1/2 14:37 65 5/8 10,000 65 3/8 65 1/2 14:49 65 1/2 10,000 65 7/16 65 1/2 14:49 65 1/2 10,000 65 7/16 65 1/2 14:50 65 5/8 30,000 65 1/2 65 5/8 15:29 65 3/4 5,000 65 7/8 65 15/16 i do not usually have that program on (level II time and sales) unless i see a volume surge. when i saw the first blocks going off, i decided to place an order at 65 1/2 which fortunately was filled. i saw later that this coincided very nicely with the thompson institutional watch chart. what program tells you that institutions were looking for 375,000 shares on friday? does that mean we have outstanding unfilled orders left from friday for 300,000 shares? this chart shows marketwatch's latest institutional statistics on rambus... Institutional Ownership % Shares Owned 51.91 # of Institutions 172 Total Shares Held (Mil) 11.996 3 Mo. Net Purchases (Mil) 4.120 3 Mo. Shares Purchased (Mil) 6.463 3 Mo. Shares Sold (Mil) 2.343 look at the 3 month net purchases...wow!!! this is the first time i have seen institutional ownership over 50%. these figures should be updated again very soon. consider this:(figures are approx) shares out 23,100,000 insider ownership 5,100,000 institutional ownership 12,000,000 (and rising) effective float 6,000,000 shares short 3,200,000 looks like high explosive potential to me. ok. now. you ta guys critique me please. thanks. unclewest
