William,

>> That's it, Sarmad. You have said it.

I hate to tell you how much that little bit of knowledge cost me.

But someday, when all the loss-carry-forward has been exhausted, it will seem funny instead of merely stupid.

That's why Amazon made an all-time high close Friday.

William,

This post is not a desire to debate. I am not up to it<VBG> Are you still of the opinion that Amazon will eventually be highly profitable or have you changed your long term opinion?

Glenn

William,

Have you though about the scaling in of AOL? I am assuming their subscriber numbers given are not cumulative but are current subscribers. Regardless, AOL is obtaining subscribers at a rate that is faster than the amount of posts being added to SI. A person can only be a subscriber once or likely only wishes to be a subscriber once. An SI member may make an unlimited number of posts.I know I do more than my share of adding posts to SI. Yet SI is just coming up on 9 million posts. I believe SI had 8 million posts as of March 1st. I could stand correct on that. Still is signing up new people faster than all these people can make posts on SI. That is amazing to me.

Glenn

Really? I coulda sworn it was due to DLJ covering their ass on naked calls. :o)

To DLJ: Just kidding. We all know that it was just a coincidence that you raised the target to $285 ($855 pre-split -- WOW!! What's the market cap at $285???) on option expir.
