USAB is being written and talked about in a lot of places. It looks ripe to run. If the website is first class like they advertised then it's going to hit 30 real fast just like TRAC did. It's got a smaller float, is profitable and will offer banking plus online stock trading, which almost no one does. It doesn't get any easier than this

S.W.: Kindly consider general guidelines for posting.

I'd like to echo Francois sentiment with a couple of observations:

If you have either an opinion based on acceptable analysis, or if you have data from either a disclosed source or your own research, post the data with a minimal amount of hyperbole.

Often, I find the intelligent questions extremely helpful because smart people are pointing out issues I've missed.

I PM people all the time with my own suggestions, insights and comments. I would never clog a thread with what I consider "hype" because unless you happen to own the stock, it's distracting.

Reccomendation: We all have a unique methodology for DD. If we all contribute the results of serious DD and provocative questions, then we will have a self-substaining thread without nonsense.

Then again, I could be wrong.

In any event, I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Regards,
Sol

Good post F.G. In the spirit of that sentiment let me give the cons of IATV. Um, um, let me see...oh yea, they're not making any money yet. That's the only one I can think of but it sure hasn't stopped any of the internet stocks from hitting 200.
In all seriousness, you are right to ask for dissenting opinions and to get a good discussion going. That's what SI is best at.

Francois; on your post; first, you've probably have had more pix than anyone else on the INDEX. You've picked some superstar stocks, and also some duds. Many members have probably made some terrific profits as a result of your picks and others have probably lost money. That's the way it goes. I certainly don't hold you responsible for a stock pick that declines in value, but we do sing your praises when one goes up.

Please remember that many investors thought that IMOT was a shell of a company (as stated on Anthony's thread), yet the stock was chosen for the INDEX despite the warnings of many members. Personally, I'm not too concerned about bashing & hyping. There's no censorship here. I'm fully aware that touting or degrading a stock is all part of being in business. There will always be emotional reactions to stocks that members like or disike. Sometimes (unfortunately), there are selfish motives behind many posts (if a member is either short or long on a certain stock). So, my view is: let everyone have their 'say' in a open forum. If you have proof that that a certain stock is not above-board, spell out the facts, and it will be removed from the INDEX immediately (as was HS after their accounting irregularities were announced by the SEC).

On DCHT, we still don't have one iota of solid evidence that this company has not been truthful about anything. Yes, this stock was once on the INDEX, it didn't perform well, and after several weeks it was dropped.

On IMOT, we really don't really know if they are any more credible than DCHT.

Without verifiable facts, it all boils down to subjective opinion, and so, we all must tolerate each other's various opinions.

I have made plenty of mistakes too (on ATEL, MRPS and others). I felt very strongly about ATEL's financials looking like an absolute disaster, and yet, now it's on the INDEX. I never thought MRPS would ever see a dime in revenues, and that assumption was also incorrect too (as proven last week).

So, if you have specific, verifiable information which indicates that a stock's credibility is questionable, I will be happy to investigate why the SEC is not doing their job by letting such a company trade publically, and if there is a real problem, the stock will be immediately de-listed from OUR INDEX (no questions asked).

Please remember, however, that companies like NETA, HS & SFLK (one of your holdings) have had real SEC issues, and I realize that any stock can be accused of anything. Whether or not a stock is legitimate is a different story which demands verifiable proof (notice SFLK is still on the INDEX after it's brush with the SEC).

There is hardly any "promotion" on this thread from hypsters and those with ill-intentions. They don't last long here, because I'm always asking for data to be posted to back up any assertions or claims (or I'll try my best to perform preliminary dd).

Part of my job here is to echo which pix our thread participants are interested in following and discussing. This week alone, your pix, KYOM & MDIH were included on the INDEX. Someone could easily come along and post a message saying that both these stocks are total scams and that I'm promoting them for my own gain. Would I listen to this type of criticism without specific, detailed information ? no way.

I understand your concerns, and you are a valued member of this thread, so please always speak your mind - and I will always answer you honestly. Most of time we agree on various issues, but sometimes we don't. In my view, this is what a healthy, vibrant thread is all about.

Best regards, sw
