unless you are doing a lot of day trading (20+ trades per day) i don't think you need dual monitors....my average is 200 a month and i do very well with just one screen....

i use a dell 450 for trading only and to other pc's set up for SI,news,#daytraders..ect...

my screen is set like this:

top left corner...level 2

attached next to the L2 is my time and sales.

attached next to time and sales is my position minder which lists about 50 stocks that i follow.

and on the bottom of the screen is another position minder which logs all my trades for the day and shows real time profit and loss.

IMO the more crap you have on the screen the more confusion you will have.
