This news should be good for CPQ and COMS. Remember, it was CPQ's failures which ignited the recent tech stock fall. The wholetech sector might rise now with this albatross gone from its neck. It's mainly psychological and symbolic but it's a breath of fresh air. What it says to investors is that the market will not stand still for stagnation. Heads will roll unless innovation keeps up with market evolution. COMS could be a big turnaround story soon. The perception might be that if CPQ can do it, so can COMS, with or without new leadership.
