Granted, very much so. But my analysis doesn't point to a higher gold price, but does to a lower XAU price{due to higher interest rates}. Last weeks actions {although not predicted} are not significant to me. The XAU chart looks similiar to the april 98 trend:

So why didn't gold rally?

Maybe the XAU is finding a bottom, or correcting to normalized trends

There is a lot of room for the XAU to move, less so for gold.

This is why I'm now looking into shorting the Golds stocks again.
