Larry:

Another good week, with the gold funds and indices now signalling
a major trend reversal, since late 1996!! A painful 2 + years!

Interesting that the Oil and Nat gas sector seems to have led the
way again (reminiscent of 1992). However, looking back to last year,
it appears that the fall 98 lows in the gold stock indices and
gold funds have held, and not been tested again. Now we need gold
to follow along, and with all of the negative publicity thrown
at it (e.g. IMF gold sales suggested, etc.) it hasn't collapsed
and actually gone up. Today's action was interesting, because
typically an attempt is often made to drop it at the end of the week
when many traders are gone. Well, it actually rose today. Look forward to your analysis.

Cheers

Dan
