You don't stub your toe on meaning like on a rock JF. It isn't something you can hold in your hand and pass around a room. Meaning is always going to be a personal and to some extent untranslatable experience. I certainly don't understand yours and you would never understand mine. But I am happy with mine and I assume you are happy with yours.

How would you ever know whether your meaning was external, real, and objective, since whatever you perceive is through your meaning structure? Conversely, if there is external, real, objective meaning wouldn't that also be imprinted on your internal world as you are a real being like the rest of nature?

I think the distinction that you try to make has less validity than you indicate.
