TJ,

As always your reality checks are very much appreciated. But there is a difference between ASTN and PRFM. PFRM ran on hype behind their web site opening. ASTN has a lot more going for it. The Gomez.com ipo will make this stock worth more. Add their new trading system going online and this stock will have some real earnings coming in. I really feel that ASTN is not over priced yet.

Trader J: Good advice from someone who wants back in ASTN. I hope you will mention ASTN again when it is safe to get back in for newbies like me. Also, what happened to the specialist program? Everyone too busy trading, and worrying about what was going on last week. I saw that you tried to resurrect the specialist program a while back, but I haven't seen any posts with (S) in them.

I came across your post tonight when you got your new computer. I had saved it in my book. Was glad to find that posting. I have been after the COMPUTER LEARNING thread to advise me what I needed in a computer for two days and no one answered me. I have been looking in the stores for the last few weeks and I don't want one loaded with a bunch of junk I would delete the first day I owned it. And I can't order from Dell because I'd still need someone to help me'get all the fancy stuff set up. Techie, I am not. We used to have a teenager in our neighborhood that helped all us old folks but he has a girlfriend now, so he is as good as gone. I did know I wanted Pentium II or III, 400-500 mhz 40x CD rom, no DVD, 128 mb ram but I don't know much more than that. I do know what is good enough for Trader J is good enough for me. So now I have something to show the man who is going to build one for me eventually when I get the rest of it figured out. Out here in the boonies, I can't locate a computer builder who has built one for a stock trader. Anyway, you helped me and you didn't even know it. Thanks.

Carolyn
