The option wizard is an Excel spreadsheet with formulae you can find for FREE in Larry McMillan's book. The information is public domain. The tm use of Option Wizard is protected. Real-time access for a fee is interesting. I can't imagine why anybody would pay for nice to know, but otherwise, non-essential data unless you are starting to day-trade option using the volatility and deltas as your guide to strip profits. Not an easy thing to do in the options business.

I did purchased the early versions of the software and have learned from it. The gentleman priced himself right out of my graces. Doug's page does basically the SAME thing (estimate the option price) and could easily have all the bells and whistles someday.

THE FUNCTIONS

What you have is a spreadsheet that you can Estimate the daily decay and approx. price for an option to help you determine a buy point, covering point, etc. It did help me to better understand the dynamics of the variables. Note, if you are not number oriented and lack the ability to visualize an investment and apply the information presented in the spreadsheet, it will not make a difference in your investments. I found his documentation and technical writing very weak and confusing to follow.
