I haven't noticed Amazon's prices being that low. How did you form the conclusion that they're "ridiculously low?"

JMHO.

Mike - an excellent concise summary of what makes BGP such a good investment. However, what do you think would happen to Borders' earnings if their internet site takes off? The reason I ask is that I do a lot of CD and book buying over the internet. I originally used CDNow, but switched to Amazon because their prices were lower and they sold both books and CD's.

For my most recent purchase, I comparison shopped Amazon, B&K, and Borders. Because B&K doesn't sell CD's, they were out. Borders' price on the book I was looking for was 20% lower than Amazon's and their CD prices were pretty much equal. I suspect that all of my internet buying will now go to Borders. If more consumers make the same decision, will this be good or bad for Borders (long-term profitability, not short-term stock price)?

Michael,
I recently took a position in BGP because I liked the numbers. Do you think today's drop was due solely to the changing of CEO's? Any input
would be appreciated. Thanks!!
