ATTENTION....again the DOR is 4/30 Message 8983443
I suggest you look up definition of Date of Record...I believe some are mistaking the NYSE ex-dividend rule for cut-off date. This rule is followed by other exchanges but only indicates when the dividend is to be paid out 3 weeks from Ex-Dividend date which is usually 3 days before DOR.This comes direct from Money's Complete Guide to Personal Finance and Investment Terms.Details in regards to wether spin-off shares will be free trading or restricted has yet to be announced.
T A P has received 700K shares of TNRG and 1 mil shares of TIPS from the company for services provided for a period of 1 year. For a complete write-up on TNRG/TIPS and other Turn Around Picks and free membership go to T A P profile for url

FYI, go back and look at the QNET situation in early January. Issued a 3 for 1 stock dividend effective for holders of record on Jan. 6 (I think that was the exact date but it may have been a day earlier or later). To receive the dividend shares your purchase had to have settled by the 6th (ie., purchased by the 3rd). There were all the same questions asked there that are being asked here (and just as much confusion). To be safe, if you want the shares, make sure you settle by the 30th.
