I think the stock market is broken: It says i've been losing money lately?

Haven't we seen enough of these tech-wrecks to know not to panic?

The bloodbaths just seem to happen. Investors become optimistic and buy on margin. When the market drops, it drops even harder when those on margin have to buy their shares or lose their money. Is that how it works? I've never bought on margin.

Well, if the Nas drops to zero, then it HAS TO GO UP, does it not?

I would just sit tight and not worry too much. I think, like you, that this is an over-reaction.

...today's bloodbath is unjustified.

Any more unjustified than the exponential climb to the 70-area peak, at which point SUNW was up 64% from year-end and 250%(!)from the October trough? Funny how very few longs ever classified the crazy ramp-up in these stocks as "unjustified".

SUNW's a great company; I'm long it, and will likely add to my position in coming weeks. But given the still-lofty valuations of everyone's favorite growth stocks, I'm in no hurry. This wash-out looks like it has more room to run.

Good luck,
John
