Has anyone heard the report of earnings for USWB?

Well, I don't know if that those remarks are directed at me but I certainly don't consider myself doom and gloom. I've made a fair bit in the tech stocks in January and then lost some due to inaction. I've made a lot following your NL and EP. I just put some money in USWB and didn't expect what happened today! I'm patient though and don't get too worked up!
Following you on almost everything (because I didn't sell USWB this morning as you did - though perhaps I should have!)
Dirk

Jenna-good point about thinking for yourself when you're making trading decisions. Too easy to let someone else be responsible for your decisions, because then you never have to take responsibility for your mistakes and you never learn anything.

I'm new to this thread, but not to the Street. I have been using trailing stops, and I got out today with a profit on USWB. It may limit my gains (and I had to learn to loosen up my stops when I first started this swing and day trading)but it also limits my losses. And on a day like today, it helps prevent heart attacks(a real worry when you're my age).

But, the action today seems to me to have a rich aroma of irrational, panicked selling across the board. Reminds me of last August and October 8. Back then I learned that when everyone is running for cover its a good time to buy. I'll have buy stops in several stocks(haven't picked which ones yet)that are up from todays close, and as soon as they hit(IF they hit) I'll have stop losses in. I may not make a million overnight, but at least I'll sleep overnight.

Good luck everyone.

Jenna...you are so right about your chicken little friend. As they say, even a broken watch is right twice every day!
