Hello MikeM:

The VDOnet to ICA software development seems to be on the slow track. Also seems to be minor dollars involved for CTXS. Do you have that impression, too?

The 10-K indicates minor dollars overall for technical development and major dollars to market software. I have a sense of caution with CTXS with the thought many firms can afford megabuck software development efforts--and perhaps then lasso into a relationship with a major software firm with established channels. The proof remains always in the doing, not the possible.

I expect a solid upward set in price for the opening Tuesday. It would be hard to understand anything otherwise. The stock buyback alone should do something. With the puzzling finances and the minor dollars toward development, the stock buyback looks like it may be a wash to raise the stock price for shareholders, but specifically raises employee options prospects without changing their risk basis. For the traded options, the premiums of 3-4 points for near options 30 calls have struck me as somewhat high for a downtrending stock. But based on today's report, they are now justified.

Best regards,
m
