<<<With the puzzling finances and the minor dollars toward development, the stock buyback looks like it may be a wash to raise the stock price for shareholders, >>> Based on your post, I'm under the impression that you feel the report and future outlook, are not as great as I thought they were. Could you comment please?

Thanks,
David P.

"The VDOnet to ICA software development seems to be on the slow track. Also seems to be minor dollars involved for CTXS. Do you have that impression, too?"

Marconi,
Yes I agree with you on both counts. I'm guessing CTXS didn't really purchase VDOnet, but it was more a purchase of their engineering talent. Why would CTXS want to develop a proprietary streaming solution? Makes no sense when there are tons of competitors already. Seems like they should simply focus on getting RealMedia, MS's Media Player, etc. to all run on CTXS products. My guess is this is where they are heading. I don't believe a single person brought this up in the hour long conference call.

As to your comments about, "puzzling finances," no one brought this up either (in the CC) from what I recall. I do recall CTXS making a lot of references to marketing. So maybe that is where they plan to do some heavy duty spending.
