Scott, my post was a play on words. Lipids are organic fats (a.k.a., "oils") which can be conjugated with certain drugs to form liposomes that increase the effective half-life of the drug's action in vivo. So, oils combine w/biotech in a metaphorical way only, not in actuality, in companies like LIPO and NXTR that specialize in liposomes. But, an oil company buying a biotech doesn't sound like a bad idea, at least from the perspective of a typical cash-poor biotech.
