MMV, I am here to entertain you. I accused Burke of sophistry, and I stand by that accusation.

As to mocking bears -- my analyses were always based on the business model -- never the stock price. And I stand by those points now. I have attempted to approach valuation issues on a relative basis.

I don't understand your point re: CPQ. I have been warning of channel inventories for some time, and in fact that was one of the bases I accused Burke of sophistry -- he refused to acknowledge that Dell's apparent "loss of market share" was in fact due to excess channel inventory by CPQ. Perhaps you are confusing me with another poster?

And if you take the time to read my posts on the Dell thread you will find that I was urging caution when the price of the stock got above $40 last quarter. You will also discover that I published extensive analysis showing why growth had to slow. Again, perhaps you are confusing me with another poster?

And nobody deserves "Ho Ho Ho" thrown in his face. Not even Michael Burke.
