I went back and reviewed the new site again. Instead of the first look, when it was more of a "check it out" view, I started to think more about what is offered there from TSIG. In light of some things I've read in doing some further research, it's my very humble opinion that the importance of and impact of what TSIG is putting together here is extremely relevant to today's commerce. TSIG offers a services-ready infrastructure.

It kind of zipped right by me with the first glance that these services, outsourced to TSIG, can be leased by business customers. So their expense(s) is a write-off rather than a capital expenditure. (Thanks to you-know-who-you-are for re-pointing this out!)

Business success often depends on the effectiveness of your communications. And to be effective today, a business must communicate with customers and partners around the world by making the move from company to company.com. Through its web site, a business can efficiently meet new customers, sell its products and services, provide customer service, and connect with its business partners and suppliers. The continuing explosive growth in Internet usage is good news for every company that's online: As the market expands, it brings with it an increasing number of potential new and repeat customers. But even though we all recognize the importance of the Internet to business, not every company wants to set up and maintain its own web site.

...

One of the great things about standards-based Internet technology is that it lets a company outsource applications and systems and run them from hosting sites. For example, a company can outsource electronic commerce services or business applications, thereby freeing up internal resources to concentrate on its core competencies. By outsourcing, a company can get state-of-the-art systems for a portion of the cost, and let the hosting company worry about running and maintaining the systems.
