outperforming the guys in the article

Let's not get too cocky;-) After all, being
nimble should be a huge advantage over the
constraints a Mutual Fund manager has to work
with--individual investors should be able to
outperform, unless one is very unlucky or a
complete idiot.

After tripling my trading money last year I
thought I had some skill at this too, and yet
so far this year I'm sitting dead even for the
moment. It's probably a good thing my wife only
lets me trade in my own IRA...I'm starting to think
that maybe I am one of those underperforming
idiots--I missed out on the internut frenzy
entirely, missed out on the move in oil this past
month, missed out on the flight from growth to
value these past few weeks.

Well by God I am not going to be sitting on the
sidelines when the world rediscovers biotech.
And no comments about me being like a stopped
clock, I'm sitting right here until payday.
