Snoop-Poop Your PC Thanks for pointing out the interesting article. One thing it didn't cover was the 'Paranoia' option in 'Tweak-UI'. For those who aren't familiar with 'Tweak-UI', its a utility included on your Win98 CD. You install it in your Control Panel and it takes care of some of this stuff automatically if you want it to. I've used all these components in other boxes and I feel comfortable with them fitting together well. As to the speed of Win95 vs Win98 --- I install 98 using a custom install (available to anyone, nothing special) as opposed to normal install ----and find that this cuts way down on the loading time at boot and seems to speed up application (perhaps imagination here ...ggg) I would like to have any constructive advice/recco/observations from the thread without getting into a lengthy discussion about relative merits of other products UNLESS they're better at lesser cost OR give a lot more bang for the buck .... gggggg Nemer
