thanks for feedback on the tips. :)

and thanks for putting up the components list with prices. if i did the math correctly, looks like $1201 bottom line. some of those prices look incredibly cheap. of course, i'm not into price lists at this time. but $18 for a creative sound card? $99 for the cpu, and $86 for the mobo? aren't those wild prices? and what size are the monitors? 17 inch?

oh, what about a ups? i guess that's a peripheral, so not included in above. anyway, looks like you're going to have a dandy machine when it's all put together!
