Due to the fact that Vulcan Ventures can not buy more than the 49% of Metricom stock, it appears that Paul Allen has filed a 13DA amending his original statement of ownership so that he has the option to purchase additional shares of Metricom when their(NEW PARTNER) partnership commences.(WHY WOULD PAUL ALLEN TAKE THE TIME TO FILE A 13DA UNLESS HE KNEW THAT THERE WAS A FORTHCOMING OPPORTUNITY FOR HIM TO MAKE ADDITIONAL MONEY?)
I agree with you; I don't think Paul Allen has any intention of buying out the company.
