SCO (Nasdaq: SCOC)today announced an EPS of $.11 per share in its second fiscal quarter and six month financial results for the period ended March 31, 1999.
Consensus Estimated EPS: $0.09 Whisper Number: $.10

"In addition, Compaq extended its long-standing relationship with SCO by endorsing Project Monterey, a joint business and development project led by IBM and SCO to deliver a single high-volume UNIX product line that runs across Intel IA-32 and IA-64 processors. UnixWare 7 serves as Project Monterey's UNIX system on today's IA-32 environments. SCO and IBM are jointly developing a UNIX system based on UnixWare 7 and AIX technologies for Intel's forthcoming IA-64 platforms. SCO is very pleased that Compaq has made this decision and believe their support will bring Project Monterey's momentum to a new level.
