Why? I have a computer at home and the office -- why do I need those?

RE: Office 2000

I've been using Office 2000 for the last month & I LOVE it! The changes to Front Page, Office & the other applications in the suite are fabulous. I think when it starts to ship to the public its going to sell a lot!

Frankly, I don't think it's really going to matter how good the new
office products are come this fall. I think the y2k problems are going to bring on a recession here in the last quarter of 1999 and deepen the worst of the world's depression. The US is ahead of most countries in dealing with the critical issues. The media is under wraps and can't reveal the real story of just how massive the problems exist and there just isn't enough manpower or time to fix everything. The US
will be in fairly good shape, at least, that's the party line right now come the new year. Bottomline, the rest of the world will be mostly in total chaos. Think our trade gap looks bad now, this will look good in nine months. The next critical period is July 1, 1999. The government and many large S&P 500 companies begin fiscal year 2000. I will not be long anything when that day comes.

The specialists know what's coming, the 100 share daytraders don't.
