There is not a lot to worry about with this stock. From listening to all the comments and reading just about everything I can get my hands on, t2k and I were right regarding Maffei's attempt to mix a little positive in with all the usual negative this Q. I hope this release and QCOM's earning's release is enough to support the high tech sector going forward.

Long term, I am as bullish as ever.

The more I think about it, the more I am getting perplexed about the end of this year and MSFT's performance. Just yesterday I was discussing with some colleagues as to how the y2k bug was going to effect all of our pc related spending (on a personal level) and each and every one of us agreed that we would replace all of our PCs. I for one, have four of them. The consensus was, however, that we would all wait until the very end of the year to purchase new PCs to ensure we bought the latest and greatest hardware and software available prior to the milenium striking.

So you see, the more I think about this, the more I start to wonder whether the y2k bug is a blessing or a nemesis for the pc sector when I know part of the market will sell off, but I also know folks like me will have to replace every pc they have.

Could this be the ultimate buying opportunity of a lifetime. I am starting to wonder if Maffei, Ballmer and Gates already know this...
