It would appear that ABFG is using the "everything to everybody" business model. It will be interesting to see if new internet paradigm can shake up the gem trade by having the same company mine the gemstones, cut, polish and set them and then distribute them.

Sounds like there may be some confusion as to whether or not the gemstones come from their mine properties or from the local artisans (where do the local artisans get them?).

With the propensity for emeralds to have flaws, it would be amazing to find a heretofore unknown locale that produces jewelry quality stones. And I would be reluctant to buy them over the internet.
