White, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Leap Wireless International(TM)(LWIN), has been elected to AMCC's board of directors, effective immediately. His earlier experience included Group Vice President of Industrial Systems at Rohr Industries Inc., ownership of distribution firms and financial, operations and systems positions at Raytheon, Whittaker and TRW. White holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Marshall University.
