Some folks find it easier to find good shorts than good longs.

Mr. Wang,
I disagree. For the present time period it seems to me that it is easier to find a good short than a long (speaking strictly as a short term hold). The too oblectives in going long and going short are the same - "buy low and sell high". When you short, one of those objectives are already met (doesn't mean the stock will go back down). When you go long you have to meet both objectives. I guess what I'm saying is the list on short candidates is already narrowed down for you, so you don't have to do phenominal searches for "the right play".
