Bruce: Excellent analysis....you are "focused"...everyone needs to hold their shares and be PATIENT....the best is yet to come! Company will not go to the Europeans...Big $$$$ will not permit #2 Network technology to leave American MKT. Think about the "implications"...I see "protection"...one of the phone companies will drive the bid up! American Phone interests DO NOT WANT Europeans in their "back yard"! I see $57/sh...$40/sh is totally out of the question..."People in Hell want Ice Water" would be my response! Resignation of benhamou and cadre and being replaced with those that have the respect of WS will drive up shareholder value well past $40/sh within 6-8 mo. Institutions continue to hold a considerable amt of investment in 3com...no mass exodus on their part...smart money is "ahead" of everyone as usual...they are buying out the "timid"! Regards, HKirby
