I SPENT THIS MORNING AT THE CPQ HDQS. IN HOUSTON PRIOR TO THE MEETING TOMMORROW. THE OVERWHELMING MOOD IS UPBEAT, YES UPBEAT. I WAS TALKING TO SOME OF THE STAFF AND ALL STATED THAT EP WAS NOT LOVED BY ANY OF THE RANK N FILE. YES, EM WAS HATED EVEN WORSE THAN EP. I SENSE THAT ROSEN ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE PEOPLE THAT MADE HIM THE BILLIONS AND TOOK THE ACTION THAT HE DID TO TURN THIS DEAD HORSE AROUND ON A DIME. AS FAR AS THE DISMAL CC THIS MORNING, REMEMBER, CPQ IS BEING SUED RIGHT NOW AND ANY STATEMENT MADE COULD BE USED AGAINST ROSEN IN THE FUTURE. IT IS A TENOUS SITUTATION RIGHT NOW UNTIL ROSEN GETS A BETTER HANDLE ON HIS STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES. I APPLAUD THE MANNER THEY CONDUCTED THE CC THIS MORNING. I BELIEVE HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE STOCKHOLDERS FOR THE FIRST TIME. GO CPQ ----------------------- AV WILL BE ADDRESSED TOMMORROW. ORLANDO WILLIE
