> Kis did you look into dclk's business plan etc. really?

Such that it is, sure. You do realize their entire business plan is simply this:

DCLK keeps a gigantic database of cookie ID numbers. These cookies identify anyone who goes to a doubleclick "customer" site. It uses one line of HTML per site. Doubleclick takes this cookie ID number and puts the ad banner on your screen, with ONE LINE OF HTML, based on what demographic they think you fit.

Their demographic data consists almost entirely of a list of other "customer" sites you have visited.

That's it. Nothing more.

And your argument about "first mover" is untrue, although william doesnt comprehend that. Capitalism is firmly rooted in competition.

The reason people keep harping on "first mover" is simple. Since there is almost no barrier to entry on the net, analysts have to come up with SOME excuse for these ridiculous market caps. The easiest way is to say the first company to go public in any given market is always going to be the winner in that field. If you believe that, i've got a few million shares of KIS.com i'll sell you for the low low price of only 19.95.
