Never noticed the short interest, was it that big?

I've been quietly watching, but remain long term very optimistic.

Expect to reach 100 in 12 months.

New Star program is only positive, more reflecting US practice regarding options.

Success depends partly on their incorporation of web enabling technologies. Internet will restructure mayor part of information processing within and between companies. SAP sticks to heavy spending on R&D, following the example of MSFT. Competitors like PSFT, Baan and JDE have less deep pockets. Oracle is focusing on other product lines. SAP will increase its market share. Companies will increase their spending on their information backbone. Designing a web front is not to difficult, but managing the back office of a global company is. The web will put much higher pressure on 'time compression' of inventories and throughput time. Expect companies to go the safe way and choose to extend their current choice and not to opt for a patchwork of solutions.

SAP will design buttons for 'compare' 'buy' 'pay' 'ship' 'track' and 'get service' to be inserted in its clients web pages. Plus the whole operation related to those buttons.

SAP is a good buy, unless you see higher returns on stocks in the net sector. It took me half a year to agree with Michelle on that one.
