Anyone read the article in IBD today about ATHM?

Good and bad write up.

Any thoughts?

Craig

I think there are newsgroups totally dedicated to why ao is crappy.

aolsucks.org

;-) don't take it too seriously.

but keep in mind, AOL is not an ISP. AOL is a proprietary service that happens to offer an internet gateway as a service.

the reason i think aol is crappy is that my service is slow as molases it almost always disconnects and can take up to 8 times of trying before i can reconect,i have 56k modem but almost never get a 56k connection (especialy when traveling),,could't get local access from thailand and had to call back to the states, can't cut and paste, and find it next to impossible to download and play realplayer content,,and i hate having to be disconnected when i am downloading somthing because it doen't think i am till online and what the heck is "you have been idle for a while do you want to stay online" and i also hate seeing advertisements as the first thing i see when i go online..
and plenty of more reasons but my fingers are tired of typing,,,
