Papaya King,
The Dems were in control of congress for 40 years prior to the 90's, and at times, they controlled the congress and the Presidency. Yes, Republicans favor freer world trade, but not a "New World Order" as advocated by the likes of Clinton. I agree regarding world trade since the US is competing in a world market, the need for fewer restrictions is a need. However, A "New World Order" based on diminished or obliterated national sovereignty of all nations is unacceptable by any standard. Unfortunately, this is a goal of World Socialism where Clinton is trying very hard to be the leader. He would like nothing better than to be the first "Leader" of a newly established "World Government".
