RT,

Last 2-3 days there are at least three new posters who seem gently negative, and sometimes quite ignorant going over things that have been talked about ad nauseam in the past...

I remember when i first started posting I asked lots of questions....Ed and Vlad told me to spend some time reading back posts so I did.

Still think it would be a good idea to have rolling kinda database on Vivus info useful for new investors..

My general impression after listening to the CC:

I think Leland was "cautiously optimistic" overall. This is a good sign. The results will speak for themselves...there is no need to boast or make aggressive projections. Besides...paint a mildly pessimistic future outlook and come in with "better than expected" results a la Q1 is what "value" investors like.

I read the dozens of posts before I listened to the CC because I wanted to pay special attention to the points made here, in case they were made "out of context." I believe Wilson said, "Our goal is to break even...", and "...atleast breakeven given the level of sales at this level..." My comment here is that this does not mean Leland is saying we "will" break even but we have set a low enough stage to show upside surprise (see reasoning from paragraph 1).

I am very curious about the pre-payment amount as many here are. We know it's from one the partners for later shipments. Leland didn't want to make it public yet (could this be a part of the negotiation with a marketing partner?

I see who the weak longs here are. No partner announcement yet and they cry. I hope to see more institutional sponsorship. George Soros..are you listening ?!! :)

Joe

It's OK. I understand VLAD must be very frustrated with the company. It has great potential and they are just pissing it away. If I was running the company, I would go out and get a good marketing firm and start marketing my drug. I would run TV ads promoting my Muse product.

How many people out there know about MUSE? How many know about Viagra? Heck, everybody and their Mamma know about Viagra. It's called the wonder drug. Wasn't MUSE around before Viagra? Yet, nobody knows about it. When Viagra started their advertising campaign, Muse should have already been there. At least, they should have started when Pfizer started theirs.

Anyway, I understand VLAD's frustration and rightly so. My cost basis is at 5 3/4 so getting out for me won't hurt too bad. I suspect it'll gap up like it always does and then sail downhill from there.
