<<they'd been called by a paper about interviewing CW, who has a reputation for being a computer whiz in the area, to find out about internet bombmaking or something. >>

The kids here learned about making a bomb from the movies. Two common things and cook off time.

I once typed "sex" in a Search engine to see what was available to my boys and I'm still getting bizarre e-mail. I sure got an education.

A while back Joey's science teacher asked him to find a picture showing anatomical features of a horse. Seemed a good opportunity to instruct in the use of the Internet, so I told him to type "horses, anatomy" into a search engine and see if he could find it by himself. A few minutes later I hear "Pa, what's this?". Ahem. No, that is NOT what we are looking for, perhaps elsewhere....

I may have told that story already; ignore me if I did.

My youngest son once typed "sex" in a Search engine (using my e-mail address, of course) and I am still getting the bizarre e-mail his search provoked.

Meanwhile, he has gotten married and has moved out, leaving me all alone to cope with the "latest porno for you, Joan" and "check out these hot babes" messages...There is no way to stop it, you know. Sending them e-mails demanding they remove you from their mailing lists apparently only alerts yet other outfits to your address (or so I have been told), with the result that you get even more such messages....:-((
