"wonder if board is confident enough in recovery
to announce a stock split..."

Stock split? This company? What are you smoking? There was a stock split question at last years meeting. Schwan's reply was that the market was unpredictable and since the stock had traded in 97 at the 15 level, they did not want to do a split and chance having it go down to the single digits. I would expect the same response this year. You will not see a split from COHU until the stock is comfortably in the 80's or 90's, IMO.

I am surprised that no one else has commented on the annual report. Received mine last week. Very positive, I thought! Cash is up to almost $9 per share, although other balance sheet assets (recievables, etc.) were down. More emphasis seemed to be placed on the non-semiconductor businesses, which accounted for 20% of sales.

COHU is boring, boring, boring, but I expect to make money, money, money on it in the next 5-10 years.

Best Regards to all,

Steve

Last splits were 6/93 and 6/95. Both times the stock was selling around 40. But personally I hope they do not do a stock split. The market maker's spreads are relatively smaller on high priced stocks.

One of these years the camera division will take off.
