vlad...couple of key statements: Leland did not say that 2nd qtr was going to be a break even qtr He did say that they are confident that they could run the business "given current restraints" at "least break even" while "continueing to fund R&D activities". ........................................................................................................... JamesKelly of CS First Boston....congratulated Leland on the fine QTR. Kelly confirmed: 2nd qtr should be somewhat comparable to 1st qtr. ....................................................................................................... When Charlie O' was asking about pre-payment .. .Leland did say they thought the pre-payment "WAS SIGNIFICANT" I read this as the (action) of the pre-payment (not the amount) (shows that a partner has confidence in Vivus).
