Dan,

Understood. I know far more C++ than MFC. The qcharts API is very nice. I have got a program from scratch to pull data from their server. Now if I could only learn how to use MFC.

well dan i hope you will have a better luck with your suggestion
for some TA stuff than i did .... FWIW

this is a part of an e-mail which i've send to quote.comfew weeks back : >>>>>

1.)a possibility to draw a basic

and here is what i've get from them ... well from gibbons

>>>> Thanks for the suggsestion. We will probably have the ability to draw
trendlines but will likely not add lots of fancy variations on trendlines.
We do have third-party application vendors who provide all these tools and
use the same powerful QFeed data service as Qcharts. You can find out more
about them at the following web site:

qcharts.com <<<<<<

well if you look at above page you will find out that the price
for products listed there is $500 something for net trader to
$2200 for Advanced get --- hope those price are correct didn't had much time to go thru tons of pages just to be able to find how much it will cost me to get one of them .....
i am not interested in any trading system , scanning system etc.
have my own system which works just fine for me and all what i was asking is something what one would expect in a program which calls it
self "Q-CHARTS" --- just the basoc stuff which makes a chart "the chart" -- other way it is just a dynamicaly running picture ... in my eyes .
Please , anyone here don't get me wrong --- i like the program a lot
other way i would quit after few days or weeks , has great data feed
and other stuff too ... just that few things which are not included in there devaluate or makes the program far less usefull than it could be ...
