Mohan, thanks for the post. I too believe it will help Dell, but not just in the short run, all that remains is the endgame and I have no doubt that MD and the rest of management will play it out with excellence and class. Regards and aloha

If DELL is doing so great, why can't it stay up with the
Nasdaq Index ? It seems to me that a single "great" stock
should be able to beat an index .....Oh ! Maybe it will start
doing that tomorrow ?

DELL TREND IS DOWN...no matter how many bullish postings.

PS: Please do not blame me. Blame DELL stock !!!

Re: >> is nice to be loyal to your dealer channel, but not at the expense of your company," Seybold's Gould said. "[Resellers] are going to be the dead weight that brings them down. Whoever comes in will have to really embrace e-commerce and the channel will have to adapt.''<<

The best thing that could happen to Dell would be for CPQ and HP to forsake their
Reseller channel and go e-commerce. IMO their customers will be forced into the
direct model which would instantly open up their previously closed channel sales to
a free for all.
