Derek, Is "unique" the same as "proprietary" or "unique to an individual card"? "SanDisk includes an on-board controller in every product which carries a unique serialization feature and provides a solution which satisfies the guidelines of several proposals currently under review by the Secure Digital Music Initiative. This serialization feature plays a crucial role in creating an authorized copy which is bound to the storage media." Also, once downloaded, will a particular song be allowed to be read and written only to the card with that unique serialization??? I have used my Pontis player only with CD's I own and with free internet downloads. I will have to try it out on a pay site. Ausdauer
