I have been thinking about that (services) -- obviously there are all kinds of things that they can do in booking these revenues which can make the short term appear better, but MB and others have always said that these services are a low-margin biz --- why should they necessarily be a low margin biz? Yes, there are few barriers to entry, but people stick to a brand-name for services even more than they do for hardware.

Don't get me wrong -- I think IBM stock is grossly overpriced on a fundamental basis and will fall, but I'm not sure I subscribe to the idea that it is a great short/put candidate right now.
