Who would want to live in a place where the right to own a gun is taken away. A place where a person can not even transport a firearm. There are no gun stores, no shooting ranges. If the police catch someone traveling through your neighborhood they will confiscate their legally stored gun even though federal laws prohibits this. Who would want to live in a place like this???

If you were to build a gun control theory based upon the events in
Littleton then it would be necessary to ban not only guns but
also all plumbing pipe, nails and propane canisters. You might
say that is ridicules. They are everywhere and they are useful.
Some people need them and people who wanted them for
improper uses would get them anyway. You would be right.

If you ban guns you only make them legally unavailable to
the people who would honor your ban. In the case in point,
these young men were resourceful not stupid and they had
evil intent.
