I think that a lot of the volume and downward price pressure today in Toronto was driven by margin calls (big surprise). The fact that Greenline, Investorline, etc. decided to cancel the loan value on bid.com didn't help. People who thought they were safe on margin probably got caught by that play. I'll tell you... I got an "urgent call" this AM from Greenline and when I said I'd run over to the branch and cover, I swear the guy I was talking to just about passed out. Sounded to me like he'd had a lot of really bad calls to make this AM. He actually thanked me for being so understanding. As someone pointed out, Greenline was a big seller today...

Tomorrow will be different.. and each day the NASDAQ crowd takes on a bigger influence. For them... this is a great new opportunity and they're eating it up by the millions! I really do think that a lot of bid.com alumni are jumping back in... someone was buying all those shares traded today on the TSE and the signal that it has bottomed was pretty clear in the $3.50ish rise we saw today.

Today we finally closed higher than our open on NASDAQ with BIG volume at the end.... Still waiting and watching ... but definitely starting to feel a bit more relaxed. I actually can't wait to see how we open... can you say... GAP UP??? Go BIDS Go!!
