Truf, <<The Big Kahuna thread >>
The Big Kahuna thread is different from BK is a Myth thread! The real BK thread is actually bullish and the Myth thread is bearish and a hang out for a lot of disgruntled bears! -g-

KM (Trufflette?),

First, I apologize if I created some confusion re: the "Big Kahuna" thread versus the "The Naked Truth - Big Kahuna a Myth" thread (this second one is where I pulled Earlie's post from). I didn't realize there were two different threads with similar names. I came at Earlie's post from the Michael Burke thread.

Second, you can defend Earlie if you want, but I've been reading the Michael Burke thread recently (at the suggestion of someone who said I should get the whole picture), and am not impressed. I've never met anyone who's been wrong all the time, so kudos to Earlie for catching the MU problem, but Earlie, Michael, and Skeeter Bug strike me as the type of people who, when handed a diamond, want to know what good it is -- you can't eat it, it won't keep you warm at night, you can't play basketball with it, and it reflects light in these annoying little beams. Extremism, either positive or negative, is useless, and I haven't seen a well-balanced viewpoint from them. And just as I ignore certain positive posters on the Dell or Compaq threads, I now read the MB thread mostly for giggles.

I'll listen anytime to someone who knows that the glass is half-empty and half-full.

Dave
