Karma,

Go to View->Internet Options and select the general tab. Press the settings button under temporary internet files.

If never is selected, change it to "every time you start". If every time you start is selected, change it to every visit.

Let me know how it works out,

PS I am not sure the menu selections are the same on a mac, but they should be close.

pps Don't upgrade to IE 5 yet, it's really buggy.
