Darren, It is an uneffective "Quick fix" to blame guns for the Denver shootings. Look to the American culture- look to the acts of violence regularly played out on tv, on video games. Look to the parents who consider working more important than seeing that their kids are properly raised. Indeed look even to our own President bombing another nation without any substantial legal basis, and on and on- a "culture of death" is what Pope John Paul called the USA on his next to the last visit here in the USA.

I take no posiiton on gun control- but blaming guns for the Denver shootings sounds neat- but it is ignoring the deeper cultural problems that lie at the root of the problem and which sprang from the various movements of the 60's.......
